JoinTac is a medical technology company that aims to replace costly metal screws with dowels made from natural bone, in several very specific types of orthopedic surgery. After conducting preliminary research and product testing, JoinTac will pursue FDA De Novo Clearance for "fusion dowels" made from a range of biocompatible materials.

   

JoinTac's implant, instrumentation, and surgical techniques were developed by Dr. Lance Smith.  He is passionate about minimizing pain and recovery time after surgery, as well as providing a tailored treatment
