Blue Print Surf began as a one-off request to 3d-print a surfboard out of recycled ocean plastic.  After gathering a group of passionate surfers and entrepreneurs, Blue Print Surf is developing an ecologically responsible surfboard construction that uses large scale 3D-printing, recycled ocean plastics, and decentralized manufacturing methods.

 

We want our business to empower the local surf shops, board shapers, and sense of community that make surfing special.  For that reason, we will make our unique board construction available to any board designer, and simply charge them a small fee on top of our manufacturing costs.  The more plastic we sequester inside our Blue Print Surf boards, the cleaner our oceans will be.
